Doctors' Day at the Arizona State Capitol is a day-long event sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP). This event gives physicians and healthcare providers the opportunity to learn more about Arizona's political process and to advocate on behalf of internists and patients.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012
8 am - 3 pm
Arizona State Capitol
1700 West Washington
Phoenix, AZ, 85007

The day will start with a working breakfast, which includes an educational session and briefings by key medical organization representatives, followed by a hands-on look at the legislature in action.

The attendees will then be joined by key legislators for a facilitated discussion during the ACP-hosted lunch. In addition, attendees may also schedule small group meetings with their legislator(s) to discuss issues important to healthcare and the practice of internal medicine.

Registration is FREE, but required to ensure adequate materials and meals. It is very important ACP has your name, contact information and home address (to confirm your legislative representatives.)

ACP will schedule your legislative representative appointments between 9-11 am, or 2-3 pm. Please indicate your time preference in your RSVP, an alternative appointment time or if you do not wish to meet with your representative(s) (see below for more information).

Sincerely,

Ana Maria Lopez, MD, MPH, FACP
Governor, ACP Arizona Chapter

Anita C. Murcko, MD, FACP
