The Mission of the Maricopa County Medical Society is to promote excellence in the quality of care and the health of the community, and to represent and serve its members by acting as a strong, collective physician voice.

In fulfilling this Mission, the Society will initiate, respond to, and implement efforts through which:

1. professionalism in medicine is enhanced,
2. the ethics of medicine are fostered and preserved,
3. patient rights and free choice are supported,
4. quality practice of medicine is preserved.

Through these actions, members will have their current and future needs met in a manner that they as individuals effectively undertake or achieve.
