Personal Protective Equipment for Physicians
Doctors need PPE to reduce the spread of infectious diseases like the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19. We especially want to provide PPE to young doctors with new practices and heavy student debt who may not have funds for buying needed supplies. Because some medical practices lack PPE, patients cancel appointments and the small businesses are struggling financially.
We have the purchasing and logistics pipelines established. We will leverage staff and volunteers to distribute PPE to physicians and their medical staff. We will receive daily reports from the fulfillment team to detail how much PPE has been purchased and the status of shipments from the manufacturers. The need is great. Lives are at stake.
