|Student Board Member 2020|
Morgan Reeve, OMS-III
Morgan Reeve is in her third year at A.T. Still Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing her third- and fourth-year clinical rotations in the Phoenix, Arizona area. She graduated with honors in 2015 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN with a B.S. in Biology, minoring in Psychology. From 2015-2017, she helped to establish a medical scribing program at CentraCare Health facilities in central Minnesota. While attending her first two years of medical school, she served as the Parliamentarian of the ATSU-KCOM Student Government Board as well as a member of the ATSU-KCOM Lifestyle Medicine Board. The work completed on these boards aimed to better the education, opportunities, and overall health of her fellow students, professors, and the surrounding community.
While Morgan is originally from Minnesota and admittedly misses the snow, she is enjoying the more temperate winter climate here in Arizona. Professionally, she is interested in women’s health, surgical aspects of medicine, and acute care. Her personal interests include kayaking, hiking, and experimental baking.
Morgan is looking forward to assisting the MCMS Board in providing resources and educational experiences for her fellow medical students in the Phoenix region. Joining an active and involved medical society such as MCMS as a medical student can provide wonderful opportunities for networking and mentorship from active physicians in the area, which for someone early on in their medical career can be invaluable.
