Jennifer Talbott is in her second year at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine - Arizona campus. She graduated with honors in 2013 from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Comparative Human Development. From 2014-2016 she served as a Community Health Educator in rural Paraguay with the U.S. Peace Corps. Her service centered on youth development and reproductive and sexual health education.
After beginning medical school in 2017, Jennifer founded and was elected president of her school’s chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA). The AMWA group activities are divided between professional development for female medical students and community projects involving local refugee women’s health clinics and anti-sex trafficking organizations.
Jennifer is originally from Dayton, Ohio, but much prefers the dryness and heat of the desert. Her professional interests include women’s health, international public health, and community development.
