Academy of Medical Science of Maricopa County
Founded in 1966, the Academy of Medical Science of Maricopa County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to operate exclusively for charitable, scientific or educational purposes. The Academy achieved the Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency for 2021.
What the Academy Supports
We focus on training the current and future generations of physicians. We provide virtual and in-person continuing medical education. We coordinate an essay contest for medical students throughout Maricopa County, Arizona. We also support local organizations working in the community to provide care for underserved populations.
