Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona

BBBS is the oldest and largest youth mentoring program in the country. Learn how to become a "Big" and mentor a child. Participate in Career Days and share your story of a career in medicine and what motivates you to care for patients. Participate in Group Mentoring sessions. Participate in "Big for a Day" events throughout the valley.

Mission of Mercy

Arizona HOSA

Founded in 2005, HOSA is a student-led organization that works to create quality, compassionate future health professionals. Be a judge at one of multiple in-person or virtual competitions held throughout the year. Volunteer to speak with students about career options in medicine.

ElevateMeD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to elevating medicine by providing scholarships, mentoring, and support to medical students from African-American/Black, Latinx, and Native American backgrounds.

Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley

Members (ages 5-18) can participate in arts, STEM, recreational sports & activities, and enrichment programs. Get help with homework. Hot dinner and snacks provided.
