H.R. 879: Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act of 2025

H.R. 879 is designed to support physicians who participate in Medicare by addressing recent payment cuts and helping practices remain financially sustainable. Key benefits for physicians include:

  1. Medicare Payment Stabilization – Temporary adjustments to Medicare reimbursements to help offset reductions.

  2. Support for Private Practices – Helps small and independent practices stay viable amid rising costs.

  3. Patient Access Protection – Ensures patients continue to have access to care, including in rural and underserved areas.
